Dear Friends and Family,
Mr. mouse called yesterday to schedule his semen analysis and heard the magic words everyone working through infertility issues must get immune to - this procedure is not covered by insurance. Please bring cash, check or a credit card to pay for the expenses. Granted, the analysis is $150, so we will do it. But, I wonder, is it a gradually escalating scale, each step? Say, $200? $500? $800? $1200? $1500? Until, somehow, some when, you're shelling over $15K for a procedure that's not covered?
Well, I'm not sure where the line in the sand for us is. For me, it's at the diagnostic point, or not far beyond the diagnostic point. I'm not sure where it is for Mr. mouse. More fun and games.
