New Year's Eve Past

Dear Friends and Family,

Before I dive into my "big" post, Mr. mouse and I spent a fair bit of time last night trying to remember all of our New Year's Eves Past. Here's what we came up with (with the help of digital recall this morning):

• 1995: in my first apartment, after my wallet got stolen
• 1996: at Mr. mouse's, after Southwestern for dinner
• 1997: at Mr. mouse's, after Spanish for dinner
• 1998: in DC
• 1999: in New York
• 2000: in Bangkok
• 2001: in Seoul
• 2002: at my apartment by the winter cabin
• 2003: at the mouse ranch, blackout
• 2004: at the mouse winter cabin, huh
• 2005: at the mouse winter cabin, really?
• 2006: with our neighbors, right after moving
• 2007: spring, with lots of alcohol
• 2008: spring, with lots of toasts, but very little alcohol

We were wrong on several of them, but we were close on many of the earlier of ones.
