Dear Friends and Family,What if?What if, when we all paid taxes, we could designate where our tax money went? So, for instance, I could give some to air traffic control, I could give some to national parks, I could give some to road repair, etc. Or, I could designate it to a you choose bucket.We could truly vote with our dollars. You could pick foreign aid. You could pick national security. You could pick paying down the debt. Or, you could pick an I don't care bucket.It'd be fascinating what got funded and what didn't. Politicians wouldn't spend all their time trying to figure it out. And, the general populace, hopefully, would become much smarter about where their money goes.What if?Cheers!mouse
