Dear Friends and Family,
We had flash storms last night where the rain was coming down in sheets over a tiny patch of space. Unfortunately for us, timing wise, it started right when B and I left work and followed us to Mr. mouse's office and from there to the restaurant where B's sister, B's sister's friend and B's husband, Chef M, were meeting up with us for dinner.
On the docket? Korean food. B's sister's friend doesn't eat beef, so we ordered a seafood pancake and vegetarian noodles for appetizers. Then, we grilled chicken and pork. And, we finished off with individual dishes. Chef M and I had the spicy short rib soup. B and her sister's friend had the bibimbap. B's sister had the grilled mackerel. And, Mr. mouse had soup - the one we had for breakfast every morning with my grandfather. It was so cozy. And, there's nothing like a smörgåsbord of deliciousness to make everyone happy.
