Dear Friends and Family,
It was a weekend of eating and catching up on zzz's.
Friday, getting home after a day of snow, I ate some chocolate cake and settled in for an afternoon nap. Mr. mouse woke me for a couple of hours for dinner and basketball. Then, we fell back asleep for the night.
Saturday, we slept in. Mr. mouse went to pick up the mail while I spent the morning cleaning the kitchen. We spent the day running errands and then met up with our friends for dinner at Katsu Sushi. The food was excellent. I've fallen in love with their grilled yellowtail jaw. The meat is so flavorful and so tender. I want to go back and order just that with a bowl of rice.
Sunday, we went to our favorite bar to watch the weekend's F1 race only to find that it was closed for Easter. So, we headed down to Chinatown for some dim sum. Why is Chinese food so high in points?!?! Napped the afternoon away. Then, grilled a snapper for dinner. Another quarter of my slice of chocolate cake from dinner a week and a half ago; a couple of hours of work to catch up; and, you guessed it, it was time for bed.
What a lame weekend. Hopefully, the weather improves and we can start to get out and enjoy the city. Happy Monday, everyone.
Cheers!
