We took Pioneer in today for a weigh in to see if our new feeding schedule was impacting her weight.
According to the weigh in, she gained 2 ounces over 8 days which is bad news.
Hypothesis #1: we've been letting her sleep too long at night
Hypothesis #2: we've been letting her get away with shorter feedings when she's not "in the mood"
Hypothesis #3: the doctor's scale is off
We weighed in today on a digital scale. But, last week we weighed in on an analog scale. The doctor noticed her analog scale was off so she went off of the digital readings. But, I just had another thought...
What if the scale was off last week as well, then the delta is still valid! Mr. mouse and I have every incentive to get this right. Otherwise, we can be in for more rigorous monitoring and for supplementing. We'll weigh her on our own scale tonight. And, also compare her other stats.
