Dear Friends and Family,
We were driving home from the mall yesterday when a light bulb went off.
One big difference for me has been the light switch change from nurturee to nurturer. Before Pioneer, I would come home to be nurtured. Mr. mouse would take care of me and ensure that my batteries were recharged for the upcoming day.
Now, we're both nurturers and Pioneer is the nurturee. I don't mind the change in roles. But, recognizing it does give me a sense of accomplishment. I think at some point it'll all evolve and Pioneer won't be as all encompassing as she is now. I'm not worried either way.
