Electricity Tracking, Still Not Happy

Dear Friends and Family,

Got the electricity bill last night. I was so jazzed to compare it to last year's bill. And, alas, I'm up.

• Last year Sept, we consumed 457 kWh. This Sept, we used 643 kWh. We're up 41%. Double ouch!
• In Aug, we spent 975 kWh. So, we're down, as expected, M-O-M by about 34%.
• And, at last report out, we had been trending +41% YTD and with Sept's addition we're still trending +41%.

The bar was set pretty low for Sept, so we didn't do too bad. I might need to reset my expectations. Two people living here is going to be higher usage than one. But, once we hit Jan, there's no more excuses.
