I'm writing about a chain restaurant and I'm giving it an 8. Wow. What has the world come to? We went to Ted's Montana Grill for lunch on Sunday. Mr. mouse ordered the naked bison burger with onion rings. And, I ordered the skinny dip (adds avocado) bison burger with jalapeños on a whole wheat bun and a baked sweet potato. The sweet potato was way over-baked. It was mushy, not firm. But, the burger had good texture, a little crumbly, not overly dense and good flavor, which must mean it's higher in fat. Fortunately, they do a decent job of keeping the portions in check. We estimated the burger was about 10 oz. uncooked weight, which is large but not gross.
