Dear Friends and Family,
We went to J. Christopher's for brunch on Saturday. Disclaimer: I've gotten totally spoiled with the multiple brunch options within shouting distance of the mouse pad. So, the bar is set pretty high.
Mr. mouse ordered a typical Southern breakfast - biscuits and gravy with a side of country ham, fried eggs and potatoes. I got the smoked turkey avocado skillet with pico de gallo hold the cheese. The skillets come with roasted potatoes and two eggs.
I hate to say it, but there wasn't a lot about the meal to make it stand out as a destination place. It was fine. But, I'm not salivating writing about the place. Now, the croissants from Premiere Moisson... That was a memorable breakfast...
