I know. I know. I specifically called out the power strip thing as nonsense when I started this whole endeavor. And, here I am, putting the Wii and its TV on a power strip. I did a quick double check on it after donating the VCR and it's good for another 10 kWh per month reduction in electrical usage. That's still a 2% reduction at our current run rate. I'll take it.
I just realized, I should set a goal for ourselves. Goals are good. For now, I'll set a goal of 450 kWh per month. That's my first 10% goal.
