Dear Friends and Family,
I guess it doesn't take long for life to become routine. I mentally allocated the first half of this year to just figuring things out, taking in the transition and adjusting to life with Mr. mouse. It's a month into it, and it's feeling like the transition is, for the most part, complete.
What else was on the Top 3? Wellness and house refinance. We got the paperwork for the refinance in the mail yesterday. Need to find a notary, sign it, and return it within the next 10 days. I was off on the timing. Our 3/1 payment will be the reduced amount. That means we've already paid the last of our original payments. So, with one more errand, this will be complete as well. The heavy lifting is complete. I'm not sure it merits a spot in the Top 3... Technically yes, but in spirit, no.
Where does this leave me? Happy that I'm making progress, but in need of something to focus on. I think I'll keep wellness in the priority list for now. I've got 15 pounds that I still want to lose although I would be totally fine with bottoming out where I am now. I have some credit card debt I need to pay off now that we sold the mouse house (renovations and last minute fixes) but that'll be done in a month or two... Hmm... I'm drawing a blank.
This is something to think about. I'm not used to life being some simple. Time to do some navel gazing and find new things to focus on.
Cheers!
mouse
