Feast Restaurant and Bar

Dear Friends and Family,

Just catching up on old reviews.

There are, oh, a billion brunch options in Bucktown/Wicker Park. Most have decent food, so when we're hungry our differentiator is the wait. There's never a wait at Feast. The food is good, a nice mix of sweet options for Mr. mouse and savory options for me. I had an omelet with roasted red peppers, carmelized onions and mushrooms. Mr. mouse had a thing that was chili, nachos, chorizo sausages, and other stuff tossed all into one. Our neighbors had eggs benedict, crab cake benedict and potato pancakes. Bloody Marys, Margheritas, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice rounded out the brunch.

The best part? They play a mix of 80s music all morning that kept us guessing and reminiscing.

Overall rating: 8/10
