Just catching up on old reviews.
Met up with some friends at Le Bar, the hotel bar for the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower. Self billed as a stylish modern bar featuring floor to ceiling glass walls, inviting library area and specialty martinis, and an extensive selection of champagne and wines, Le Bar is a typical hotel bar. It's quiet enough to have a conversation, and the wine list is extensive. I'm not sure I'm the hotel bar type. I think I prefer restaurant bars or wine bars, but I still had fun going out.
