Sakuma Japanese Restaurant

Just catching up on old reviews.

Mr. mouse read about Sakuma online. A Reviewer put it on par with having sushi at Nobu. Having gone to Nobu, I figured it was worth a comparison. A colleague and I were totally geeked to make the drive out to Streamwood and try it.

Boy, were we disappointed. The nigiri sushi was average at best. The rolls were a huge disappointment. They were essentially kimbap with sushi based ingredients. Nothing at all noteworthy in either either the quality of the food or the presentation. Definitely not worth the 90 minutes we waited nor the higher than typical prices we paid.
